I am over this work week. I’ve been over it since Monday… I started out the week like oh yeah, gonna get shit done and have a good week, nope. It’s just dragged…
I’ve been reading The Night Circus and I forgot how much I actually love this book and so hope that they would make it into a movie or television series, it would be so enchanting…..I love when a book paints a picture so vivid that you could swear it was real. This book has been my only escape. Although, I recently did find a book about the Chicago LGBTQIA+ community by an author I read in college, John D’Emilio. It is really interesting and I can’t wait to finish it. He went to the Chicago LGBTQIA+ museum and researched queerness in Chicago and its a bunch of short stories. I’ve read a few and damn, as a gay man today, I can honestly only imagine what some folks went through back in the day. Glad to be where we are, but we can still do better. W/e.

On a side note, John came in, as usual. He told me that Monks are able to play soccer better than anyone else, and after looking up some photos….. I want to believe…
I mean…. looking at this image hurts my brain…and neck. The other thing with John is that he wants me to create a chew-able energy supplement (don’t ask me why, I cannot remember fuck all.) He said “Jordan Energy Chews Make my Ding-Dong (makes fist to indicate what I am sure is his wang)” — yeah……yeah people….this is the shit I get to deal with EVERY MOTHER F’ING DAY…….. he then went on a rant about masks cutting off our oxygen and that people in their 70’s have about 2 years to live, and people my age have 5-10 years. I really have no idea what goes on in this mans head, but I am trying to figure it out. Crazy loves crazy.
Other than that… I really don’t have a clue as to what I am doing with my weekend. I am off this weekend, and work all next weekend, because library life is what it is. I am 90% sure I have shit to do, but I don’t wanna.
I know we just had the holidays, but my grinch ass needs a pick me up….
Peace, love, and happiness to everyone. Be kind to yourself and other. Stay amazing!
