SO…. what is going on ya’ll? I hope you have been doing well. If you haven’t, I hope you get the help you need. But in the mean time, lets see what is going on in my ol’ noggin.

So work is pretty fun. I am not sure if I ever even mentioned I am a librarian. I work for an AMAZING library and team. PS. What I say is what I say. I am not here to represent anyone but me. OK, so librarian. I am a dual librarian which is pretty rare in the library world. That is in the sense that I am oth an adult librarian and a childrens & youth services librarian at the same library. One of the fun things I try and do is get the kids to interact passivley by putting questions or polls on a board and letting them respond. So. My most recent question was “Write or draw your favorite dinosaur!” And boy did they respond.

I drew the little guy in the top left. He has a crown and a septer. He says ” I LIVED !!!” And you know what a kid did? Erased what I wrote, and fucking put “HE DIED TERRIBLY” Kids are so freaking mean! lol. I was laughing my ass off. Also, the bottom right is not a giant dick. It is a Pleasiousaurus. I originally thought it said “Please use our legos” and like a kid had donated legos and wanted to play with them….but no. It was “Pleaseiosaurus” The kid then informed us it was actually a reptile and not a dinosaur or something. I wasn’t really paying attention, because, ya know, drew and awesome dick.

I love that kids feel free to express themselves the way they do in our library. I try and encourage people to be themselves by being myself. I think seeing someone not embody the sterotypical role of what a librarian is helps make me seem nice. Also, people ALWAYS tell me I am just nice, or easily approachable. I don’t get it. But I guess I am always nice until ya cross me…(Ill cut ya!)

Nick and I went to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Secrets of Dumbldore yesterday. Y’all. I was so sad. I really enjoyed the first two movies for some reason. They were bright, fun, adventure. This was something else. I think they are trying to go down the same route as they did with potter where things got progressivley darker. BUT IT JUST IS NOT HAPPENING FOLKS.

I am NOT going to spoil anything here that isn’t already known publicly. But, within the first 5 minutes of the movie, they GAY IN YOUR FACE. lol. Like we all know Dumbledor was gettin it on with Grindlewald. But like, making Dumbledor a doey-eyed school girl was NOT what I wanted. The rest of the movie just suuuuuuuuuuucked so hard ya’ll. I was so sad. They are trying to tell to many stories at once. They are trying to add in a a lot of characters to a cast that is pretty well developed in my opinion. Because of the additional characters, others’ stories are getting lost.

AND WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO QUEENIE?! AND, when you finally see Tina I was like, “the fuck, is that two different people?” It is very very weird. And lets not talk about the insanity that is Ezra Miller. Holy hell did they just drag the movie down. And don’t get me wrong, I didn’t hate the new characters added in. They actually made it fun. I personally liked that they kep Newts brother Thesius as a main character focus in this film. But alas. I give this film two wands down.

I think they were trying to decide if they were going to make the final two films, or if they were going to make a television series out of it on HBO. I personally hope that all the cast stays on and they do a TV show. I think it needs the amount of time to develop stories and characters. If they do make the final two movies, they need to go back to the fun adventures that the first two had, and not this miserable shit show they put on.

Today I had work, as usual. My library sits along a river. It is pretty beautiful, I am not going to lie. Well geese LOVE this place because they always are on the hill eating grass n shit. Again, I don’t know what I post 1/2 the time, so I am not sure if I have mentioned this, but I AM TERRIFIED OF BIRDS. Like I am scared. It makes no sense, I know, but I am. Like do not come near me, do not touch me, fly near me, over me, stay away. But today, I got to see baby geese brought to the waters edge!

They were very attentive parents. I didn’t get closer, because I don’t want to be all up in their biz. But the lil babies were cute and super fuzzy still. They were running to the edge of the water and running back. I just wanted to share something that brightened up my day. Sometimes it really can be the little things that can make your day ya know?!

Tomorrow night (Thursday) I am going to see Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. I was able to get tickets and I am excited to see what the hell its all about. I am not a huge fan, but at this point, I’ve seen every single Marvel movie, so I am going to see the next million that they crank out.
