Hello everyone. I hope that you are doing well. (You are amazing, so you have to be.) It has been a minute since I wrote. I have good reason!
So this story really must begin at the greenhouse thing we went to Sunday. Nick said he wasn’t feeling good on Monday night. i made him take a #COVID test because my ass is paranoid. It came back negatice, so I was like:

And I must remind the world that we still wear our masks whenever we go out in public. We still use sanitizer in the car / wash our hands. By tuesday he said he had a bad cold, was going to take his calls and call off, but did he even make it through? Nope. He ended up sleeping most of the day. I came home, took care of him for a bit, and started to feel a tickle. This is now Wednesday night. Thursday morning rolls around and Nick is like no, I can’t. And I feel rough. I said ok we are both taking tests now. And bitch……

I managed to avoid this shit for 2+ years and then BAMN!!! IN THE FACE. OK so we have been trying to get through this. Nick has slowly been feeling better and so have I. I really am glad. We have been drinking a ton of powerade / water. We have been taking dayquil every 4 hours during the day. I don’t take nyquil or anything of the sort because there is usually a lot of alcohol in it and bitch, I haven’t had a drink in 5+ years, I ain’t about to ruin that over a shot of fuckin nyquil. Other than that we’ve been lazing about. I made chicken noodle soup. I have noticed that taking things slower really is a better way. Not just because everything is sore and I can’t move that fast. But when you are slower, you are able to see things more. Just like in like, if you take a moment to pause before you respond to something, you might just make an even better decision, it isn’t as irrational. It is something that I will take away with me after getting over this.
Work has been amazing. They follow the CDC so I am off until Tuesday at the earliest. Today is Saturday and Nick said he feels great, just tired still. So I am hoping that is me come tomorrow night / Monday. I want to go back to work Tuesday because I only work Tuesday and Wednesday and than I am off for another 5 days and I feel terrible enough for getting sick already. I am thankful that I got the vaccinations and the booster. I think they are helping me. That is a personal opinion, don’t come at me, I don’t care what you think, my blog, my thoughts. I also think having a positive outlook is helping. I am willing myself to get better. I see myself as healthy, I am manifesting this shit.
Before I got sick and, I really hope before I spread anything to anyone. I had a book club at work. We talked about Oscar Wildes’, The Picture of Dorian Gray. I had a real fun time with it. It didn’t have the turn out that I wanted, only 5 people plus myself. But hey. We talked about it, had a gay old time. I also had some fun drawing on the board before hand. I like a bit of theatrics.

I have more I want to say. I wanted to talk about Rebel Wilson and Senior Year. And how Netflix did her dirty with the image still they used for the background. So I will just show the photo instead.

I am going to crash now. This actually took way more energy to write then I thought it would. I hope that you all have a great rest of your weekend. I hope to be on the mend soon and then you will have to deal with even more of me. Before I go, I wanted to share a fun thing. We have our fish tank, and it is going well. One of the things I bought was a snail. I for get what exactly, but its an Ivory…..something. Well. We noticed that he likes to be a daredevil. He will climb on the glass to the top, and then let go and like float to the floor. Its really strange, but hey, it seems like he likes it.

And he isn’t that small. He is at least the size of a quarter, but I swear he has to be bigger. He seems to be coming out of his shell more and exploring around. I appreciate him.

Did you know something? YOU, yes YOU are AMAZING! If nobody has told you that today, I wanted to remind you. I hope that you have a good one. Stay safe. Be kind to yourself and others. It is a tought world to be in as is.
