Why is it so hard?!

Life that is. Hi everyone! Its me, your favorite out-of-his-mind librarian! How the hell ya’ll been? I actually got a lot of people to read my last post…and it made me laugh. Aubrey, if you are reading this, hey girl! Just knowing that a single person reads this makes me happy.

I really haven’t done shit these past few days. I have been overworked, and underpaid as the old saying goes. What did I do….

First on Saturday or Sunday…can’t remember because my brain and I are fighting. I dyed my hair half pink. During the week at work, I got a few comments. Mostly kids who were like ‘Why do you have pink hair Mr. Jordan?’ I had a few grandparents even compliment me on it (although, I think its because their grand children were awed by it.) Do you know how fast my hair grows? By Monday my roots were showing through the pink so it had to go. So I dyed the pink, blue! I can finally say, with the help of my husband, I blue myself!

the smurf aesthetic

This week at work has been blah. Nothing exciting really going on. Some talk about movement in the departments, we shall see.

Nick and I are still working away at the teardrop trailer. Now, I have to be 100% honest. I really love the idea of a trailer and camping. What I don’t love, is working on it. It is a lot of work. I have OCD and if something isn’t “perfect” then it might as just well be trash. With that, and my husbands “we will make it work,” attitude, I want to kill every time we work on this fucker.

Today all the bullshit we bought during Amazon prime day arrived. So now our house is full of even more shit that I cant get rid of. I think I have a bad attitude as I write this, fuck am I a downer. I feel like between this, work, stress, I am going to snap pretty soon. I feel like I am getting nowhere, just treading the same water. Stuck. I want to be on top of my game, but lately with everything going on in the world, it is so hard to hold onto hope. Not that I am giving up on anything, I’m not, just stuck in a rut, but I want to get out asap.

One thing keeping me together is my garden. Seeing my little baby plants grow, and at this point produce some amazing vegetables, makes me so happy. The hard work I’ve put into this is starting to pay off. Sometimes you just gotta stop and eat the snow peas ya know?

I hope that everyone has a great weekend. If nobody has to you lately, you are AMAZING! Never forget that or let anyone tell you otherwise. Stay safe.
